Symposium on Mark and Louise Zwick’s Book, The Catholic Worker Movement: Intellectual and Spiritual Origins

The panel discussion of the book, The Catholic Worker Movement: Intellectual and Spiritual Origins by Mark and Louise Zwick (Paulist Press) at the University of St. Thomas, Houston, was cancelled because of Hurricane Ike. It has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 9, from 7:00 to 8:30 p. m. in Anderson Hall

Panel members will include John P. Hittinger, Vice President for Academic Affairs at UST; John Burke, Director of the Social Justice Program at UST; Brooke Deely of UST, an authority on the Maritains; and authors Mark and Louise Zwick.

The event is co-sponsored by the School of Arts and Sciences and by the Friends of the Doherty Library.

The Doherty Library is also sponsoring an exhibit on Dorothy Day and the Catholic Worker Movement to coincide with the date of the panel discussion.
